These shock damper spacers are useful for spacing the angle of your shocks from the shock tower, relative to the suspension arm. They can be used on any Tamiya touring car platform.
Pro Tip: When attaching the shock to the shock tower, look at the angle of the shock relative to the suspension arm. If your shock is at a 90 degree angle, relative to the shock tower, the shock spring behaves 1 to 1. Meaning the spring rate is the spring rate. If the angle is more than 90 degrees or less than 90 degrees, it’s similar to putting attaching a slightly stiffer spring. This is a useful tuning method, if you’re next stiffer spring is too stiff. It’s a great way to find those in between settings.
